Priority Needs for Asylum Seekers at Border Wall

Since November, 2023, hundreds of people are presenting themselves for asylum in the remote mountains east of Sasabe, Arizona, some wait for days in the cold. Read our open letter to Border Patrol here. Volunteers are scrambling to keep people warm, dry and fed.
Priority Needs:
- Tarps
- P-cord and rope for securing tarps
- Large Tents (camping or military style)
- Emergency Blankets
- Blankets
- Warm clothing for adults and kids: jackets, hats, gloves, rain ponchos
- Tennis shoes
- Lighters, waterproof matches
- Disposable cups, bowls and utensils **priority is often bowls and hot drink cups**
- Contractor bags
- Toilet paper
- Hand sanitizer
- Non Perishable Food – pop top cans, MREs, granola bars, sugar
- Baby formula

No More Deaths is looking to acquire sturdy four-wheel-drive trucks as well as fuel-efficient cars for our work in southern Arizona. If you have a vehicle you would like to donate to a good cause, we want to hear from you!
